Last updated: 2 June 2026
Use of the service
These terms apply to Document Automation Lite for Outlook, including the Outlook add-in, Steek-IT API, trial and subscription service, and related documentation.
Trial and subscription
A trial may be created automatically on first use. After the trial period, an active subscription is required to continue processing selected emails.
Intended Lite use
Lite is intended for regular manual processing of selected Outlook emails and their attachments. It is not intended for unattended background processing, bulk archiving, continuous extraction, or high-volume server-side automation.
No local or network folder saving in Lite
The Lite version downloads selected attachments as a ZIP file through the browser. It does not directly save attachments to local or network folders and does not require a Windows helper.
Separate Pro version
Steek-IT may offer Document Automation Pro for Outlook separately outside Microsoft AppSource for organizations that need direct saving to local or network folders.
User responsibility
The user remains responsible for verifying that the correct emails and attachments were selected and that the downloaded ZIP file is complete and suitable for their workflow.
No backup, archive, or compliance system
Document Automation Lite for Outlook is not a backup system, archive system, records management system, legal hold system, compliance system, accounting system, or document management system.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Steek-IT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profit, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
